Can you believe in Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is a fundamental element of western society and most of us grew up using this type of magical icon. Recently I came upon the concept that Santa represents an exclusive archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is identified as an inherited memory represented inside the mind from a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.
In searching for these particular symbolic images of this dear old man I realized that which Santa Claus stands for can also be used to motivate us in creating for that new year. I see him as a fun-loving guy which brings us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all of our dreams and wishes be realized. Within this season we have been filled with expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the enjoyment of being with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, and also the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.
I realize that santa in your living room reflects several archetypes. He is seen inside the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope and to assume that a greater day lies ahead. He or she is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith as well as the trust that will be well.
The Caregiver archetype, however, is not inside the exercise of power this is the motive, but the drive to bestow care on those who require it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He is about giving to others fulfilling their requirements. And then he will not require anything in turn except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He appear to be a strong guy, settling on who turns into a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. Whenever we are good and if we feel, Santa will ensure we have everything we wish.
A significant part of Santa’s story is the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney by the touch of his nose together with his yearly trek world wide. And on top of that, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is nothing short of miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and love to all, one child’s heart at the same time. Santa may be the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to get new means of dealing, being and succeeding.
When we are creating our dreams, our visions, and our selections for 2010, let’s all remember to use our Santa Claus model along with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. As you have chosen after which more clearly defined the options in creating your 2010 Journey, take advantage of this strategy to shift your beliefs and allowing of this which you desire.
Sometimes simply the subtle shift from viewing our images from a mature part of seeking to force, worrying over and wondering how things changes, for the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. A key component of the ability of Allowing would be to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings permits us to available to the Infinite Probabilities of the Universe.
Then too, we can easily liken Santa’s management techniques to a universal manager. Is it possible to envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, within one night? And all on time and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe can perform for all of us, when we transform it up to God/Source. From the book “Ask & It Really Is Given” among the Proven Processes is catchusanta it up to the manager. When we set our goals, it’s like delegating to some Universal Manager. So when we take a step back, and permit the Universe set things in position, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not quitting choices, we’re merely turning over every piece of information and creating our choices.
I urge you to concentrate on giving onto your Universal Manager everything you sense you want to do within this holiday week. You’ll think it is amazing that since we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve performed this personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by all of the chores I feel I must do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, while some just don’t seem very important. I’ve had instances when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to perform several of the baking. I’ve learned to just accept help and reply with a grateful “Yes!” This procedure is priceless in most elements of life, not simply the holidays. The Law of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that needs to happen to bring me my desires, Now.
